​Jonathan Tepperman is a journalist, author, editor, and expert on geopolitics and U.S. foreign policy. He has lived, studied, worked, and reported from around the world. He is currently the Vice President for the International Program at the Andrew Carnegie Foundation.

Over the course of his career, Tepperman has reported from more than a dozen countries and worked as a high-level editor at Foreign Affairs, Newsweek, and Foreign Policy, which he ran as its Editor-in-Chief. His has published many essays, profiles, op-eds, columns, book reviews, and interviews with world leaders for a long list of publications. A frequent speaker and media analyst, he is the author of a critically acclaimed book, The Fix: How Countries Use Crises to solve the World's Worst Problems, which The New York Times called "an indispensable handbook."
